Australia is looking to rediscover its form after slipping down a spot to 25 in the latest FIFA world rankings.

Holger Osieck's side has not had a win in its last four international fixtures but is looking to get back on the winning track in its upcoming FIFA 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

The Socceroos will face Lebanon in a friendly match on Friday morning (AEST) before meeting Jordan in a crucial qualifier five days later in Amman.

Meanwhile, Portugal is the only side to have made an upwards move inside the top 10.

The table, which takes into account August's internationals, sees Paulo Bento's men move from fifth to fourth, swapping places with Uruguay.

Reigning world and European champions Spain stays on top, with Germany second and England third.

The rest of the top 10 comprises of Italy, Argentina, Netherlands, Croatia and Denmark.

Switzerland has broken into the top 20 with a three-place rise from 23rd, while Slovenia was a big mover, up nine spots to 24th, with Belgium also making a leap from 53rd to 40th.
