France striker Florent Sinama-Pongolle has signed a two-year deal with Rostov, the Russian Premier League club announced on its website.
"I consider this move to Russia a new challenge in my career," said the 27-year-old former France Under-21 attacker.
Sinama-Pongolle, whose wife is Russian, spent last season on loan in his homeland with St Etienne from Sporting.
He began his career with Le Havre, before spells with Liverpool, Blackburn Rovers, Recreativo Huelva, Atletico Madrid and Real Zaragoza.
