Finnish international Toni Kallio has completed a permanent move to Fulham.
The defender had originally spent the second half of last season on loan at Craven Cottage from Swiss Super League side Grasshoppers.
Kallio did not make one first team appearance during that time, but has clearly done enough in training to impress manager Roy Hodgson into signing him on a two-year deal.
"The club can confirm that Toni Kallio has signed a two-year deal with Fulham which will see him remain at Craven Cottage until June 2010," read a statement on the Fulham website http://www.fulhamfc.com.
"The versatile defender can play at both centre and left-back positions and previously played for HJK Helsinki and Molde FK."
