Striker Ariza Makukula has vowed to fight for his place at Benfica, rubbishing reports of a move to Osasuna.
The Portugal international has yet to play a game this season and had been reported to be keen on reuniting with former Benfica boss Jose Antonio Camacho in Spain.
The 27-year-old, who joined Benfica from Maritimo a year ago, made the squad for Monday's (AEDT) defeat at Trofense but was left on the bench by boss Quique Flores.
"He is the coach. I just have to accept and respect his decisions," Makukula told PA Sport.
"There has not been any agreement with Osasuna as has been reported.
"I would be lying if told you that I am happy with my current situation at Benfica. Not a single professional likes to experience (not playing).
"It is a difficult situation, but I am completely committed to Benfica. All I want now is to play, nothing else."
However, Makukula admitted he would be tempted to play in the Premier League.
"It is a league that any player would like to play," he added.
"I have been told that some foreigner clubs, including the Premier League, have asked about my situation, but personally I have not been contacted."
