Winger Martijn Meerdink is still intent on leaving FC Groningen.
The 32-year-old, who lost favour with coach Ron Jans when he refused to come on as a substitute against FC Twente last month with the team losing heavily, has so far failed to find himself a new club.
"It's quiet," he told ELF Voetbal. "But I can wait and see what happens. I still want to leave. Hopefully it'll soon be clear."
Meerdink, who has had spells with De Graafschap and AZ Alkmaar, was sent by Jans to to the reserves after the Twente incident.
