NYL: Victory still in finals contention

Melbourne Victory stayed in the race for a National Youth League finals berth after beating AIS 2-0 on Sunday afternoon in Canberra.


After a solid start by AIS, Victory hit back the best way possible with goals from Matthew Theodore (29th minute) and Aziz Behich (32nd minute penalty).

The AIS would hit the woodwork on two occasions and narrowly miss more chances as it fought to get back in the match but Victory would hold on for the win.
