The Hyundai A-League, Australia’s premier domestic football competition, is being broadcast on free-to-air TV for the very first time in season 2013-2104 and you can watch it on SBS 2.
In addition to a live match every Friday night, SBS will broadcast weekly highlights on a Monday night (9:30pm) and a live football entertainment program, Thursday FC (8:30pm).
All Hyundai A-League matches will be simulcast in high definition on SBS HD.
SBS’s live Friday night match coverage will be hosted by SBS Host and former Socceroos striker David Zdrilic. He will be joined by SBS Chief Football Analyst Craig Foster and special guests throughout the season including former Socceroos and A-League stars Jason Culina, Ned Zelic and Clint Bolton. David Basheer will provide match commentary and Lucy Zelic will report live from the sideline.
Thursday FC is hosted by Lucy Zelic and David Zdrilic. It will showcase the Hyundai A-League like never before, combining the latest football news and views with entertainment, interviews and live performances.
SBS Radio will provide live commentary for the Friday night Hyundai A-League matches via SBS Radio 3, with commentators throughout the season including Vitor Sobral, Aytek Genc, Glenn Osborne and Clint Bolton.
The live Friday night Hyundai A-League games will also be streamed online at sbs.com.au/theworldgame. Monday night's A-League Highlights Show will also include insights from Craig Foster.
