Norwich manager Chris Hughton is interested in signing Birmingham winger Nathan Redmond.
Hughton worked with the 19-year-old while in charge at St Andrew's and is believed to be keen on bringing him to the Premier League.
Redmond's form was one of the few highlights in England's performance at the recent UEFA European U21 Championships, with Hughton well aware of the potential he has.
"I worked with him at Birmingham. He has done very well and he is a very exciting young player," Hughton told Sky Sports News.
"But any progress that we make on any player, we will only notify you when any business has been done."
Redmond, who became the second-youngest debutant for Birmingham at 16 years and 173 days, appeared 38 times for Birmingham in the Championship last season, scoring twice.
Rangers midfielder Nicky Law admits he has struggled to get his head around the flak that comes with being an Ibrox player.
