Napoli's star striker Edinson Cavani will miss the Serie A high-flyer's trip to Atalanta on Wednesday evening (Thursday morning AEDT) with an injured right thigh.
The 25-year-old Uruguayan, who played no part in last weekend's 1-0 win over Chievo, was left out of the squad 'as a precaution', according to the club's website.
Cavani is the joint-top scorer in the Italian league this season with six goals alongside AC Milan's Stephan El Shaarawy and Lazio's Miroslav Klose.
