Perth Glory has completed its pre-season campaign in stunning fashion with a 5-0 thrashing of Melbourne Heart.
Shane Smeltz opened the scoring for Glory from the penalty spot, after just nine minutes when Patrick Gerhardt handballed in the area.
Smeltz then added his second for the night, thanks to a cross from Ryo Nagai, who again impressed on trial.
Perth captain Jacob Burns gave his side a 3-0 lead on the stroke of half-time, continuing his superb pre-season form.
Glory coach Ian Ferguson full of praise for his side.
"It was a fantastic performance," Ferguson said.
"To get two wins in four days over Melbourne Victory and Heart is very pleasing, I'm delighted.
"The manner that we played was also very pleasing.
"Now we need to carry this form into the first game of the season against Brisbane Roar."
Although Ferguson rotated his squad in the second half, the goals continued to flow.
The visitor added a fourth, with Jesse Makarounas finding the back of the net.
But it was Nagai who sealed the victory just minutes later with an impressive strike.
"Ryo did very well," Ferguson added.
"He caused them a lot of problems, and showed he has a great understanding of the game."
The win highlighted Glory's pre-season form ahead of its A-League season opener on October 7, a re-match of last season's grand-final against Brisbane Roar.
