England manager Roy Hodgson will not strengthen his squad ahead of a World Cup qualifier against Moldova, despite losing Andy Carroll to a hamstring injury.
The West Ham forward, on loan from Liverpool, suffered the injury on his debut at his new club on Saturday, a 3-0 win over Fulham.
Having assessed his players after Sunday's matches, Hodgson decided to stick with his original squad, which he met in Watford on Monday for Friday's meeting in Chisinau.
With Wayne Rooney ruled out with a gashed thigh, England will have only Danny Welbeck, Jermain Defoe and Daniel Sturridge to call on, although Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Steven Gerrard could all play in more advanced roles.
