Lorenzo Insigne is in line for his senior international debut after he was called up to the Italy squad for its 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Bulgaria and Malta.

The Napoli striker has impressed at Under-21 level scoring six times in four matches, while fellow forward Giampaolo Pazzini is recalled for the matches on 7 and 11 September.

The striker hit a hat-trick for AC Milan in its 3-1 win over Bologna and could make his first appearance since last September's EURO 2012 qualifier against Solvenia.
