Argentine import Marcelo Carrusca has been included in Adelaide United's squad for the knockout stages of the AFC Champions League.
The Reds are in the last eight of the ACL for the second time in their history and will be the only Australian club flying the flag in the competition.
Adelaide faces current Uzbek league leader Bunyodkor in the first leg at
Hindmarsh Stadium on Wednesday 19 September and in the return in
Tashkent on 3 October.
Carrusca will take up the vacant foreign spot made available after the departure of Francisco Usucar.
Under the format and regulations of the ACL, once the round of 16 matches have been played and decided, the eight clubs still vying for the title are permitted to submit a new squad list of up to 30 players.
The Reds have also included new signings Jake Barker-Daish and Daniel Bowles.
