Central Coast Mariners wrapped up its two-game tour of New Caledonia with a 4-2 win over its host at the Stade Numa Daly on Saturday night.
Striker Mitchell Duke scored twice with Troy Hearfield and Bernie Ibini also getting onb the scoresheet.
Duke, 21, took just three minutes to open the scoring when he finished off an opening set up by Hearfield.
The roles were reversed three minutes before the break when Duke played in Hearfield who slid the ball into the net.
Miguel Kayara – who on Thursday netted a stunning free kick for Les Cagous – reduced the deficit on 61 minutes with another fine strike past Justin Pasfield.
However, two goals in as many minutes from the Mariners sealed the result.
Duke grabbed his second of the night after he beat two opponents to fire home.
And on 75 minutes Ibini – who netted in Thursday's 1-1 draw – nicked the ball into the back of the net.
New Caledonia snared the game's final goal six minutes later from a corner.
"We got exactly what we wanted out of the trip," Mariners coach Graham Arnold said of the five-day tour.
"We got two good games against a strong opposition in New Caledonia.
"I believe the Oceania nations have improved enormously and we can't thank New Caledonia enough for showing us such great hospitality throughout our stay.
"Tonight we performed very well. We scored some good goals and in all honesty we could have scored more.
"I am very happy with the performance and the trip."
The only player in the travelling squad not to get any game time was Mile Sterjovski.
