Brugge, Zulte-Waregem both held

Brugge was held 3-3 at KV Mechelen while Zulte-Waregem drew 1-1 at Beerschot.

Israeli Lior Rafaelov gave Brugge a 32nd-minute lead but Thomas Enevoldsen quickly drew Mechelen level (35), and its second lead was even more short-lived as Thomas Meunier's 40th-minute goal was cancelled out within seconds by Wannes van Tricht.

Rafaelov gave Brugge the lead for the third time with a penalty on the hour but again Mechelen hit back, Steven de Petter scoring with 15 minutes to go.

Zulte-Waregem fell behind to a goal two minutes into the second half by Beerschot's Wim de Decker for Beerschot, but grabbed an equaliser nine minutes from time through Franck Berrier.

Mons climbed above Mechelen into third on goal difference after a 1-1 draw at home to Lierse, Jeremy Sapina giving the host a 49th-minute lead before Kostadin Khazurov (58) pegged it back.

Charleroi claimed its first win of the season, winning 1-0 at Kortrijk thanks to Abraham Kudemor's goal eight minutes from the end.
