Chelsea suffered a 3-2 loss to a Major League Soccer All Stars side featuring former Premier League stars David Beckham and Thierry Henry.

San Jose Earthquakes forward Chris Wondolowski opened the scoring for the MLS compilation side, which lost the corresponding fixture last year to Manchester United.

Veteran defender John Terry levelled the match when he met Frank Lampard's corner just after the half hour mark.

Chelsea, which gave starts to summer recruits Eden Hazard and Marko Marin, went ahead after 58 minutes when Lampard's close-range shot found the net.

DC United striker Chris Pontius equalised with 17 minutes to go, before Seattle Sounders forward Eddie Johnson netted the winner in injury time.
