Manchester City has followed up Manchester United's away win in the UEFA Europa League by coming from behind to seal a 2-1 win over FC Porto at Estadio do Dragao.

City slipped behind to Silvestre Varela's 27th-minute strike but hit back in the second half through Alvaro Pereira's own-goal and substitute Sergio Aguero's close-range winner.

Elsewhere, Valencia came away from the Britannia Stadium with a slender 1-0 lead over Stoke, with Mehmet Topal scoring a screamer.

PSV Eindhoven was a 2-1 winner at Trabzonspor, Tim Matavz and Ola Toivonen both on target in the first 12 minutes before Olcan Adin hit back for the host side.

Steve McClaren's FC Twente beat Steaua Bucharest 1-0 at home thanks to Ola John's superb lob.

Maxime Lestienne put Club Brugge up at Hannover, only for Artur Sobiech and Jan Schlaudraff to claim a 2-1 win.

Wisla Krakow overcame Michal Czekaj's 26th-minute sending off to draw 1-1 with Standard Liege. Gohi Cyriac scored the resulting penalty following Czekaj's dismissal, but Tsvetan Genkov stole an 88th-minute equaliser.
