Dortmund puts five past Hamburg

Jakub Blaszczykowski and Robert Lewandowski each scored twice as Borussia Dortmund beat Hamburg 5-1 to pull level on points with Bundesliga leader Bayern Munich.

Kevin Grosskreutz gave Dortmund the lead after 16 minutes, before Lewandowski made it 2-0 in the 37th minute.

Blaszczykowski got a third goal in the 58th minute and the Poland international added a second from the spot after 76 minutes.

Lewandowski matched Blaszczykowski with his second goal in the 83rd minute, before Jose Paolo Guerrero scored a consolation for Hamburg in the 86th minute.

Lars Bender's late winner secured Bayer Leverkusen a thrilling 3-2 victory over Mainz.

An own goal by Zdenek Pospech put Leverkusen ahead after 10 minutes and Manuel Friedrich's header made it 2-0 after 35 minutes.

Mainz pulled a goal back through Eugen Polanski in the 50th minute and Marco Caligiuri equalised three minutes later, but the host had the final say with Bender nodding home in the 70th minute.
