Nafat Al Janoub moved to the top of Group B of the Iraq Super League with a 1-0 victory over Al Talab.

Qais Issa netted the only goal 10 minutes from time as Nafat Al Janoub ensured five-time Iraq champions Al Talab opened their campaign with a defeat.

It was Nafat Al Janoub`s second win of the season and took them two points clear of Duhok in the standings.
