No hard feelings... Keane was in great spirits when he captained Galaxy for the friendly against Tottenham (Action)

Tottenham Hotspur drew 1-1 in a pre-season friendly with a Los Angeles Galaxy side featuring its former striker Robbie Keane.

Gareth Bale gave Spurs a first half lead in California before the home side levelled before the break.

Bale headed home a 17th minute cross from Gylfi Sigurdsson but David Lopes replied before the break to make sure the match ended 1-1.

Tottenham, playing its first match of a three-game tour, lost midfielder Rafael van der Vaart and defender Kyle Walker to injury during the game.

Dutch midfielder Van der Vaart walked off in the 35th minute with an apparent groin injury, while England right-back Walker appeared to hurt his left ankle on 66 minutes.

David Beckham and Landon Donovan were absent from the Galaxy line-up with both selected to feature for the MLS All Stars against Chelsea in Pennsylvania.
