Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed he hopes to complete the signing of Swansea midfielder Joe Allen in the next 24 hours.
The 22-year-old was in the directors' box at Anfield to watch the Liverpool's Europa League 3-0 defeat of FC Gomel, which wrapped up a 4-0 aggregate success.
And former Swans manager Rodgers said after the game: "I hope to conclude the deal in the next 24 hours. It is imminent."
