Jeju United continued its solid start to the new K-League season with a 2-0 victory over Daejeon Citizens pushing Park kyong-hoon's side level on points with leaders Jeonbuk Motors.
New signing Lee Sang-Hyup opened the scoring after 19 minutes with a left-foot shot before the former FC Seoul man set up Park Hyun-beom to seal the win with four minutes remaining.
After picking up a second win of the season unbeaten Jeju improved to eight points and second place in the table level on points with Jeonbuk Motors, while winless Daejeon suffered a third defeat in four games.
"We are playing with confidence at the moment and are feeling good," said Jeju coach Park.
"There is still a long way to go this season. There are 14 other teams in the K-League and none of them are easy opponents but we are not either."
Elsewhere, Ulsan Horang-I moved upto fifth place after a 2-1 win at bottom club Daegu FC.
A late winner from substitute and new Colombian signing Carmelo Valencia handed Ulsan Horang-I a second win of the season.
