Happy... Andrea Stramaccioni is very happy at Inter Milan's recent resurgence (Getty Images)
Andrea Stramaccioni is hoping Inter Milan's recent resurgence proves president
Inter won its seventh successive game in all competitions and its eighth on the trot away from the San Siro, a 3-1 victory at Bologna which moved them up to third in the Serie A table.
And Stramaccioni believes Moratti's decision to promote him from youth team boss to first team coach is now paying off.
He told www.inter.it: "I'm trying to do my part. I'm proud of being the Inter coach. When a team wins eight away matches it's a sign of unity. It means that we're focused and motivated.
"I'm trying to show that the president didn't do something completely crazy."
"We struggled at the start of both halves and Bologna showed a lot of spirit, but I liked what I saw from Inter," added Stramaccioni.
"We were solid and organised and gave little away from open play. We got surprised only on that one corner when they scored.
"We're moving forward and I'm pleased with this progress."
