Midfielder Antonio Nocerino scored twice and set up another to lead AC Milan to a 3-1 win over Honduran team Olimpia in a friendly.
Milan controlled the action from the opening whistle, with Robinho scoring in the 24th minute and Nocerino finding the net in the 37th and 44th minutes to build a three-goal lead at half-time. Olimpia's Jose Escalante pulled one back for the Honduras side in the 72nd minute.
Originally, Brazilian side Cruzeiro was lined up to play Milan for the match, but a scheduling conflict forced Cruzeiro to back out, opening the opportunity for Olimpia.
AC Milan next plays Spanish power Real Madrid on 8 August at Yankee Stadium. Olimpia flies back to Honduras for a league match against Athletico Choloma this weekend.
