Verratti in PSG talks

The 19-year-old, who proved crucial in helping Pescara gain promotion to Serie A for next season, appears set to move to the Ligue 1 outfit in a reported 14 million euro ($16.88 million) deal northern this summer.

"We had our first meeting with PSG and it was very productive," Verratti's agent Donato Di Campli told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"All the parties involved have spoken and stated their requirements and I can say that Paris St Germain have shown a great interest in the player.

"We have been impressed by the stadium and by the club headquarters.

"We have given ourselves a couple of days to reflect and we will meet again in the next few days either in Milan or Paris."

Verratti has made 74 appearances for Pescara since making his debut at the age of 16.

The Italy Under-21 international is also a reported target of Juventus and Napoli.
