Ireland to meet Hungary

The Republic of Ireland will face Hungary in its final warm-up game ahead of EURO 2012.

The Football Association of Ireland confirmed that Giovanni Trapattoni's men will play a friendly in Budapest on 4 June.

Ireland will meet the Czech Republic at the Aviva Stadium on 29 February, but begins its preparations in earnest when Bosnia-Herzegovina heads for Dublin on 26 May.

It will set off for its pre-tournament training camp in Montecatini, Italy the following day before its date with the Hungarians.

Trapattoni and his players will travel from Budapest to their base in Gdynia, Poland the next day, and will open their campaign against Croatia in Poznan on 10 June.
