Germany striker Mario Gomez will be out for two to three weeks with a calf injury.
Bayern Munich officials said that Gomez ruptured a muscle in his right calf during Tuesday's (Wednesday morning AEDT) Champions League match at Fiorentina. Gomez was replaced by Miroslav Klose in the 30th minute.
He may be back in time to face his former club Stuttgart in the Bundesliga on March 27.
