Concern... Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes is unworried by Bayern's first loss of the season (Getty Images)
Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes is confident his team will bounce back from its first defeat of the Bundesliga season.
The Bavarians had won its first eight games of the season, but saw that run halted with a 2-1 loss at the hands of Heynckes' former club Bayer Leverkusen.
Bayern's lead at the top of the table has been cut to four points as a result, but Heynckes sees no cause for concern.
"This defeat will not knock us down," he said. "We will learn our lesson from it.
"We still have a comfortable cushion in the league table."
Bayern was caught out twice on the counter-attack and Heynckes bemoaned the lapses in concentration which cost his side dearly.
"When you play against a Leverkusen side who are excellent on the counter-attack, then you have got to go full throttle for the full 90 minutes," he said on his club's website.
"We did not do that. We were also unable to turn our dominance into goals."
Leverkusen's efficiency saw them come away from Munich with its first three points since 1989, much to the delight of joint coach
"Congratulations to my team, they gave everything today and got the bit of luck that you need here," he said.
"This is a special victory without a doubt."
