Augsburg has brought Andreas Ottl back to Bavaria by signing the former Bayern Munich midfielder on a free transfer from
Ottl spent last season with Hertha having previously spent a spell on loan with Nurnberg.
He made 95 appearances for Bayern Munich between 2005 and 2011 and now returns to Bavaria to play for Augsburg for the next two years.
"We are pleased to have signed such an experienced midfielder in Andreas Ottl, who is in his footballing prime," said Augsburg's director of sport
"His quality will strengthen our side."

"It was impressive how the team played, above all in the Bundesliga last season, and avoided relegation.
"I am therefore looking forward to being able to be part of this team and I would like to make my contribution to us achieving our goal for next season of once again staying up."
