Manager Brendan Rodgers says he would have no interest in swapping Swansea City for Tottenham Hotspur after committing his future to the south Wales club by signing a new three-and-a-half year contract.

The link with Tottenham comes on the day that Rodgers agreed his new deal with the Swans, with chairman
Rodgers has won plenty of plaudits for the attractive style of play displayed by Swansea, and the team lies 10th in the English Premier League table after an impressive recent run of results that included victory over Arsenal and draws with Tottenham and Chelsea.
But he insists he would not currently be interested in moving to the London outfit if the opportunity to manage the club became available, although he is flattered to be linked with other jobs.

"I have a brilliant relationship with the board and a better one again with the chairman.
"I was 50/1 to get the Swansea job, I was a long shot, so the bookies are not always a good guide.
"It's incredible, you sign a new contract and the day you sign it you are linked with moving away but I am very happy here and my family love it in

The Canaries, which also won promotion last season, currently sits one place and two points above Swansea in ninth, and Rodgers hopes the teams can serve up a game that reflects just how well they have adapted to life in the top flight.
He said: "We have had some terrific games against Norwich and we know it will be competitive, but every game has been that way this year, whether it has been against Norwich, West Brom or Tottenham, although there is the extra motivation that whoever win will finish the game above the other side.
