Dunga: Brazil on right track

8 June 2010-PA Sport

Brazil coach Dunga believes his team is on the right track heading into the World Cup after convincing friendly victories over Zimbabwe and Tanzania.

The Canarinha arrived in Johannesburg on Tuesday on the back of a 5-1 win over Tanzania in Dar-es-Salaam on Monday, which followed a 3-0 triumph over Zimbabwe in Harare last Wednesday.

"We played two good games against two teams that play at a fast pace," said Dunga.

"We are on the right track.

"Now we must polish the work we have done in recent weeks to be ready for our World Cup opener."

Dunga, who left out Ronaldinho, Adriano and Neymar from his squad, is more than happy with the players at his disposal.

"We have players with different characteristics," he said.

"We will be able to take advantage of this depending on the rivals we face.

"Everyone in the team will give their contribution in order to change the outcome of a game."

Brazil is in Group G alongside Korea DPR, Ivory Coast and Portugal.

The South American team take on Korea DPR in its World Cup opener in Johannesburg next Wednesday morning.
