Club Brugge up to fifth

26 November 2012-PA Sport

Club Brugge moved up to fifth in the Jupiler League thanks to a 1-0 win over Charleroi as both teams finished with 10 men.

Charleroi had Giuseppe Rossini sent off just before half-time and the home side took advantage with a goal from Bjorn Vleminckx early in the second half.

However, Brugge also had a man sent off when Vadis Odjija Ofoe picked up a second yellow card nine minutes from time.

In the day's other game, Leuven snatched a point with a 1-1 draw at Genk courtesy of Ebrahim Savaneh's 90th-minute penalty.

Glynor Plet had given Genk the lead after 22 minutes.
