Lecce, Bari game closed

30 December 2010-PA Sport

Lecce's Serie A game with fellow struggler Bari next week will be played behind closed doors.

The home side released a statement on its official website announcing that no fans would be allowed into the Via Del Mare for the 6 January match.

Police have taken the unusual step because of security fears surrounding the league's two bottom sides, who are separated by a distance of about 85 miles on the heel of Italy.
