Global finalists... Bilic, Clut and Carmichael.
The Pacific Finals of The Chance concluded this week with two Australian teens and a New Zealand youngster selected among the final 100 in Nike's global talent search.
Sixteen year old Devante Clut and Matthew Bilic, 18, both from New South Wales, and Auckland's Stephen Carmichael will head to Barcelona's famed youth academy, to line up against the best young footballers from 55 countries across five continents.
Central Coast Mariners midfielder Tom Rogic was among the eight winners of The Chance 2010 and was on hand in Canberra, during the three-day event, as Clut, Bilic and Carmichael beat 35 other hopefuls for the opportunity of a lifetime.

Also watching from the sidelines was Western Sydney Wanderers coach Tony Popovic, who admitted he was scouting for talent.
"I'm a bit shocked. Previously I've gotten to a level where I need to move up, and I've been cut. Now that I’ve finally achieved the success I feel proud of myself and very happy. Speechless really," Clut said.
Likewise, Bilic came up short in previous attempts.
"I was so nervous waiting and when they said my name, I was so excited. I worked my butt off, so I am just glad to reap the rewards," he said.

The three Pacific finalists will compete in the Global Finals, between 19 and 26 August with 16 finalists selected to experience a four-week training tour, travelling the world and facing some of the most prestigious youth academy teams in world football.
From the 16 finalists four players will then go on to train and play with the Nike Academy before a single winner will be selected to join the Nike Academy in 2012-2013 full time for three months.
