Melbourne Heart confirmed defender Brendan Hamill will undergo a medical with Korea club Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma after agreeing terms to a transfer.
As revealed by The World Game, Hamill will leave Heart seven months into a a contract extension, with the former AFC Champions League winner viewing him as the ideal replacement for Socceroos central defender Sasa Ognenovski.
Hamill, who joined Heart from the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in 2010, played 34 matches for the club and was a member of the Young Socceroos squad for the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
