Olyroo striker Bruce Djite has become the latest Australia international to move to Europe after signing for Genclerbirligi in the Turkish Super Lig.

The 21-year-old, who has made one appearance for the Socceroos, has signed a three-year contract with the Ankara-based side after moving from A-League club Adelaide United.

Djite, who is in the Olyroos side for the 2008 Olympic football tournament, was born in the United States but could also have represented Cote d'Ivoire or Togo, the countries of his father's and mother's birth.

The powerful frontman, named the A-League Rising Star for 2007/08, scored six times in 12 games last term and helped the Reds to the quarter-finals of the Asian Champions League.
