Centre-back Harry Souttar will become the second tallest player ever to debut for the Socceroos when he lines up at 1.98m against Nepal.

He will be partnered in the centre of defence by Bailey Wright, who will start for Australia for just the second time in the last 18 months.

Mark Milligan is back wearing the captain's armband and will play in the holding midfielder role.

Craig Goodwin will start for just the third time in his international career, meanwhile, Melbourne City forward Jamie Maclaren will have an opportunity to add to his one goal in 12 international matches as he leads the line.
