Leeds announce squad to travel to Australia

Leeds United will bring a squad of 16 players to Australia to take on Manchester United on Wednesday night in Perth before playing Western Sydney Wanderers on Saturday night.

The English Championship side has announced that some players will stay back in Leeds to work on their fitness. 

Captain Liam Cooper, as well as star players Pablo Hernandez, Patrick Bamford and Kalvin Phillips will all travel to Australia. However, Polish international Mateusz Klich and summer recruit Helder Costa will stay back in England. 

The players flew out on Saturday local time, but coach Marcelo Bielsa will travel in the coming days and the club says he will be on the sideline for their match against Manchester United.
