Norway 12 Honduras 0

Haaland's incredible nine-goal haul eclipsed the record for most goals scored in the U20 finals, while the margin of victory was the widest in tournament history.

The 18-year-old, son of former Norway, Leeds United and Manchester City midfielder Alfe-Inge Haaland, plays for Salzburg having joined the Austrian champions from Molde this year.

Haaland scored his first goal of the game in the seventh minute and had piled up four more before the break as Norway ran riot in Poland.

Honduras, who had two players sent off, are out of the competition while Norway's progression from the group stage is not certain despite their huge win.

New Zealand 0 Uruguay 2

Goals from Darwin Nunez and Brian Rodriguez saw Uruguay maintain their 100% record at the competition and top their group.

The Kiwis rotated their starting XI, leaving Wellington Phoenix players Sarpreet Singh, Gianni Stensness, Liberato Cacace and Ben Waine on the bench.

Uruguay are yet to know their opponent in the Round of 16, but New Zealand will face Colombia who came second in Group A.

Nigeria 1 Ukraine 1

Ukraine topped Group D thanks to the 1-1 draw, while the result was also enough for Nigeria to qualify for the second round.

Danylo Sikan put the Europeans ahead in the 30th minute, heading home from a great cross.

Nigeria were awarded a first half penalty, but Muhamed Tijani saw his spot-kick saved by Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin.

However, Nigeria were again awarded a penalty in the second half, and this time Tijani sent Lunin the wrong way to equalise.

USA 1 Qatar 0

Timothy Weah, son of AC Milan legend George Weah, scored a sweet individual goal to ensure victory for the USA and see them advance through to the Round of 16.

USA will face the winners of Group E - either France or Mali.
