Wright's Bristol maintained their Premier League promotion challenge with a 2-0 victory at Fulham.

The victory kept the Robins in fourth place, just five points off league leaders Wolves.

QPR beat Sheffield United 1-0 at Loftus Road with Luongo wearing the captain's armband yet again, in the absence of long-term injury victim Nedum Onuoha.

The points lifted QPR up to 12th.

Socceroos midfielder Jackson Irvine was yellow carded late in Hull City's 3-1 loss to Middlesbrough.

The defeat left the Tigers in 17th place, six points above the drop zone.

Australia will play Honduras in San Pedro Sula on Saturday November 11 before the second leg of the playoff four days later in Sydney, with the winner progressing to next year's World Cup in Russia.

Meanwhile, defender James Meredith was substituted on 73 minutes as his Millwall side lost 2-1 at Sheffield Wednesday.

The left-back last played for the Australian national team in 2015.
