Sydney FC reveal new home and away kits

A-League defending champions Sydney FC unveiled their new home and away kits for the 2017-18 season on Wednesday.

The kits, by German manufacturer Puma, follow the template used for Arsenal's 2016-17 season: contrasting raglan sleeves, a rounded soft V-shaped neck, no collar, and one faint vertical stripe down the middle.

The colour scheme is, of course, sky blue as the primary with navy secondary on the home kit - and white with sky blue on the away.

These are the first kits to feature Sydney's new club crest, which was introduced in May.

The A-League logo is also printed in Sydney's sky blue, navy, and white colour scheme, while the Puma logo blends in too - making for a very inoffensive design far less busy than previous versions.

As of yet there is no major sponsor on the front of the jersey.

Fans of the 'less is more' approach will probably be pleased, while those more flamboyant may well label it boring.
