Rodriguez, who was reportedly earning around $2,300 in commissions alone each month, left the fashion label after paparazzi stalked her at the store in Madrid and fans tried to meet her.
Some journalists even reportedly disguised themselves as customers to get inside the store so they could write stories about Rodriguez. After coming to a mutual agreement with her bosses, the 22-year-old decided to give up her role.
Rodriguez described the situation as “surreal and unsustainable”, according to a report in Spanish publication El Mundo.
But this actually wasn’t the first job Rodriguez has lost as a result of her relationship with Real Madrid superstar Ronaldo.
She was dismissed by another fashion label, this time Gucci, at the end of November, with bosses fearing the swam of reporters would scare away customers.
