That is the pledge of Ryan's agent, former Denmark striker Mikkel Beck, who is deep into negotiations with the Valencia hierarchy to secure his imminent release amid intense interest from elsewhere in Spain's La Liga and also Belgium.
Ryan, who signed a six-year deal with Valencia 18 months ago, has featured just twice in the league this season and has been absent from Valencia's last two squads as he dropped behind Brazilian No.1 Diego Alves and his understudy Jaume Domenech in the pecking order.
Struggling Osasuna, Grenada and Leganes - who occupy three of the bottom four spots in Spain's top tier - have all tabled offers for Ryan to sign on loan during the transfer window, while his former team Club Brugge are keen to have him back amidst competition from fellow Jupiler League side high-flyers Anderlecht and Gent.
Beck is adamant that Ryan, 24, will not be left to languish as Valencia’s third choice for much longer, insisting: “We are working on it and I am pretty optimistic we will have a solution by the end of this month.
“Maty is one of the best keepers out there and he needs to be playing regularly and that’s what we are working towards in our discussions with Valencia. It's not been simple but I believe we will resolve things.
“There is plenty of interest in him – that’s not the issue. We have interest, of course, but Valencia have their own preferences also and that’s what is complicating things a bit.”
Asked if Valencia – who have won their last two games to climb away from relegation trouble – would prefer that Ryan left Spain, Beck replied “It’s a little bit like that in some ways.
“The main thing is he is an incredible keeper … one if the best in the game. But we need to find a club that suits us and also Valencia. That’s basically where we are right now.”
