Huddersfield surrendered top spot on the Championship table after falling 1-0 to fourth-placed Reading as Aaron Mooy failed to reach the heights of his recent star performances.

Other than some quality work in defence, there was little to write home about for Mooy.

The defeat, coupled with Norwich City’s 3-1 victory over Jackson Irvine’s Burton Albion, allowed the Canaries to take a one point lead over the Terriers at the top of the table.
Massimo Luongo played a full match for Queens Park Rangers as they drew 1-1 with Birmingham City.

While the point snaps a two-game losing streak, QPR remain five points adrift of sixth place - the final playoff qualification spot.

Socceroos captain Mile Jedinak produced a 90-minute performance for Aston Villa as they came from behind to steal a point against Newcastle United.

Former Australia Under-23 international, Aaron Downes, scored a goal in Cheltenham Town’s 4-2 loss to Yeovil Town during Sunday’s (AEST) English Football League Two action.

Mathew Leckie had a tough time for Ingolstadt 04 as Borussia Monchengladbach edged back into the top four with a comfortable 2-0 victory.
The result becomes Ingolstadt’s fourth consecutive defeat since their opening day draw with Hamburg, and leaves them languishing inside the relegation zone.

In Switzerland, Tomi Juric came on in the 77th minute as FC Luzern were beaten 3-1 by Lausanne-Sport.

Meanwhile, Scott McDonald scored a goal in Motherwell's 1-1 draw with Partick Thistle.
