Goals galore in FFA Cup round of 32

Elsewhere, it took extra time to separate the NSW Premier League's top two sides Blacktown City and Sydney United 58. It was an incredible turnaround by Blacktown who came back from two down to draw level 2-2 at 90 minutes, before opening the floodgates in extra time to run out 6-2 victors. A wonder goal by Danny Choi from deep inside his own half was especially memorable.

Up in Darwin, it was one-way traffic for the favourites Brisbane Strikers as they went 3-0 up at half-time and eased to a 6-0 final score against Rovers Darwin FC, in the widest ever FFA Cup margin.

In Cairns, Edgeworth FC were too good for FNQ FC Heat, progressing to the round of 16 with a comfortable 3-0 win.
It was an enthralling but somehow goalless 90 minutes between Hume City and Marconi at Broadmeadow's ABD Stadium, with Hume City missing a glut of great chances.

The first fell to Kym Harris in the 19th minute but he blasted over when played through on goal. Later on, Theo Markelis and captain Nick Hegarty both cracked the post with shots from the edge of the box but it remained 0-0 after 90 minutes.

After being outplayed for most of the match, Marconi got their second wind in the latter stages and Mirjan Pavlovic finally broke the deadlock with a stunning solo effort.
Marconi tried to close out the match but Harris equalised for Hume City with a header from a long cross in the 116th minute to send the sides into a penalty shoot out.

A miss and a saved effort proved Marconi's undoing as Hume buried all of their spot-kicks to edge out the very even and open affair.
