Grigg, who was born in the West Midlands of England, scored 28 goals for Wigan in all competitions last season to almost single-handedly secure the League One title and the Latics' promotion to the Championship.
His catchy song, which even rose into the top 10 of the United Kingdom charts, was produced by Wigan fan Sean Kennedy - who adapted the 1996 Gala hit 'Freed from Desire' to illustrate Grigg's goalscoring expolits.
Wigan chairman David Sharpe paid tribute to Kennedy's creativity by giving Kennedy a complementary season ticket for 2016-2017.
Here's the original Gala hit. Maybe Kennedy has a future in as a music aggregator?
Well Bundesliga outfit Hamburg have also jumped on the Grigg bandwagon - with almost 11,000 fans signing a to bring the Wigan and Northern Ireland cult-hero to the club.
You can't blame them can you? After all, 'Will Grigg's on fire, your defence is terrified'!
