1. Charlie Adam 2015 (Stoke City v Chelsea)
Adam produced a truly audacious strike from 60 metres that lit up Stoke's performances against the eventual English Premier League champions. However, Jose Mourinho was adamant it shouldn't have counted due to a foul in the lead up.
You be the judge!
2. Orlando Engelaar 2014 (Melbourne Heart v Central Coast Mariners)
The Dutchman's long-range effort from his side of the half-way line gave Heart fans something to cheer about during an otherwise dismal season, where they finished 10th.
3. David Beckham 1996 (Manchester United v Wimbledon)
Beckham grabbed global headlines as a fresh-faced 21 year-old after his iconic goal against Wimbledon.
Wearing the coveted United number 10 jersey for the first time, after Mark Hughes's departure, Beckham spotted goalkeeper Neil Sullivan off his line and produced a stunning strike from right on the half-way line.
4. Marc Janko 2014 (Sydney FC v Brisbane Roar)
Sydney FC's former mercurial striker cashed in on a poor clearance from Brisbane goalkeeper Jamie Young and made no mistake with a sublime chest down and volley.
Although it wasn't from beyond the half-way line, it was hard to leave this one out!
5. Xabi Alonso 2006 (Liverpool v Newcastle United)
Known for his long-range striking prowess, Alonso's spectacular strike left Newcastle goalkeeper Steve Harper flapping around on the ground resembling a slippery fish.
He must be taking lessons from Brisbane Roar's Henrique!
And finally in case you missed it - here's Giannis Maniatis's effort against the Socceroos.
