The 30-year-old has sold his motorbike in Africa to fund a flight on Friday so he can return to watch the Foxes being presented with the Barclays Premier League trophy.

Claudio Ranieri's side stunned the football world by winning the title after being 5,000-1 at the start of the season and host Everton in their final home game of the season on Saturday.

Gill has been in Uganda since 2009 running a charity, East African Playgrounds, which builds playgrounds for disadvantaged children in the country and for those living in East Africa's refugee camps.

But he is desperate to be part of the celebrations at the King Power Stadium on Saturday and is looking for a ticket to the historic game.
"After winning the league on Monday night I decided to try and 'do a Leicester' and get a flight back and a ticket for the game, I reckon it's about 5,000-1," he said.

"So on Wednesday I sold my motorbike and reserved a seat on a flight home on for Friday.

"So either I have a ticket and fly back for the game or I make the decision to jump on the plane and take the chance or cut my losses.

"I know it's a sell out and the club will have had thousands of requests for tickets and they probably can't help just me and not the other people.

"So I'm appealing to anyone whose got a ticket in any part of the stadium who isn't actually that fussed about being there to get in touch with me. I know it's a long shot but it's worth a go.

"I have been a Foxes fan since I can remember. I've had season tickets, went to away games and cup games with my brother and family since I was a kid.
"I used to work in the kitchens cleaning pots and preparing veg at Filbert Street when I was a teenager because I could watch the second half of each match at home and pay for away tickets. My brother and I have travelled all over the UK and all through the leagues watching City.

"When I'm in the UK I get to as many games as possible and when here in Uganda there is a local bar that put on every City game for me to watch - usually on my own."

It will be a quick turnaround as Gill must be back in Uganda on Monday for meetings with UNICEF about installing more playgrounds.

"The deadline was to try and help me make a decision to fly back but I have had so much support, messages from old school friends and complete strangers that I think if I fly back I will find a ticket some how. Anything seems possible this season."
