Striker Justin Kluivert, 16, has been on Ajax's books since 2007 and has earned himself a three-year professional deal that begins on 1 July, 2016.

He said on www.ajax.nl: "I've been playing for nine years at Ajax now. This means a lot to me. It is a reward for everything I've done so far."

His father Patrick, who scored the only goal of the 1995 UEFA Champions League final as Ajax beat AC Milan before going onto represent the likes of AC Milan, Barcelona and Newcastle United, wrote on Twitter: "Justin signed his first contract with Ajax #proud #dad."
