With the help of fashion bloggers , every club has received a rating on a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is not worth washing your car with, and 10 is the gear you should always be seen wearing.
Liverpool
The worst of the bunch according to the style gurus, is Liverpool's third kit: "This is making my eyes close. Boring black, boring style, a coma-enducing." Rating: 0/10
Aston Villa
Villa's away kit hasn't fared much better, and was apparently lucky to get a positive score: "Not a fan of this yellow. Nor do I like how he has teamed this with even worse yellow boots. Can I give minuses?" Rating: 1/10
West Bromwich Albion
Joining Liverpool and Aston Villa in the kit relegation zone is West Bromwich Albion's new home kit. The style gurus are not impressed: "The front reminds me of tyre tracks and I think they have actually paired black with navy blue. Very poor West Brom." Rating: 1/10
Norwich City
There is no home-town loyalty when it comes to the Canaries' new offering: "I grew up near the twitch so perhaps I should show some loyalty, but this is awful. The collar, the colours, he looks like a court jester." Rating: 1/10
West Ham United
They may soon be changing grounds, but changing colour? I doubt it: "An interesting combination of mauve and baby blue but isn't this Aston Villa's strip? They need to find their own colour palette." Rating: 2/10
Bournemouth
Interesting analogy, but one thing is clear. The gurus don't rate it: "If Darth Vader were a football kit, it would be this. I have never been a Star Wars fan therefore." Rating: 2/10
Leicester City
You might like Leicester City's new home kit, but sorry Foxes' fans, your kit is boring. Apparently: "This is too blue for my liking and I don't think they've made much effort to do anything different. Yawn." Rating: 3/10
Watford
This is a decent offering from Watford, but, the kit's no good: "He could be a model but his strip is making me cross eyed. Dizzying." Rating: 3/10.
Swansea City
The Swans' away kit clearly isn't very easy on the eye: "Horrendous green." Rating: 4/10
Chelsea
Another where the talent seems to be up to more than their gear: "Those eyes, that skin tone... Sorry - his kit, I feel like I've seen that blue too many times. Boring. Although it does fit him well." Rating: 5/10
Sunderland
Fluro is fantastic for Sunderland's away kit: "Usually I don't like lurid greens especially when they are on another green, somehow this works though." Rating: 6/10
Newcastle United
The Toon Army's home kit has some fans, at least until the neckline: "I love a stripe and a monochrome. The cut of the neckline is nice but the blue detailing - all wonga." Rating: 7/10
Tottenham Hotspur
Good to see Spurs high up the kit table. Perhaps they can double it with an equally decent showing in the Premier League: "Bold fashion styling. The navy blue detail is also chic but not striking enough to be winning." Rating: 8/10
Southampton
The Saints are keen for a decent finish and if their kit is anything to go by, they will get it: "Nice. Simple, classic." Rating: 8/10
Everton
It's getting tough to pick them at the point end of the table: "Oi oi sailor! A good neckline and a strong blue channeling the nautical look. I also like the elephant." Rating: 8/10
Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace's home kit boasts a colour scheme unique in the Premier League: "Some regal colouring here (I love the military look) and the kit is also very well cut." Rating: 9/10
Manchester City
Manchester City's home kit sounds like it is a bit of a hit: "Aaaahh a breath of fresh air! I like this, the colour is great and the cut is very pleasing." Rating: 9/10
Manchester United
United's home kit is classic in every way, and we all know retro is in: "This is a very strong contender for first prize, if the red were nicer they would win. It's not though." Rating: 9/10
Stoke City
How about this for a strong finish by Stoke City's home kit! And with some of hteir summer signings, they'll expect a strong performance on the park, too: "Red and white stripe is a great summer combination. This was a close favourite. They have also done well with the neckline, the small v is perfect." Rating: 9/10
Arsenal
Top of the league. Let's see if they can replicate that where it really matters: "Straight in at number one. This is my winner. I like the buttoned neckline, it is different and more manly. The stripe round the bottom of the back of the shorts is also a nice detail. I am a Gunners girl but this has nothing to do with it. Rating: 10/10
